How Does Afterpay Work?

  1. Simply browse our online store and upon checkout select AFTERPAY. You will then be directed to Afterpay’s website. You will need to register if you are a first-time user of Afterpay.
  2. Afterpay allows you to pay for your purchase over 4 equal instalments due every 2 weeks.
  3. Afterpay is available on all orders between $70 to $1000. There are no fees if you pay on time.
  4. Late fees may apply if payments are not made on time. Refer to Afterpay’s  terms and conditions for more information afterpay.com/terms

Am I eligible for Afterpay?

  1. Do you live in Australia?
  2. You must be over 18 years old and be the authorised holder of an eligible debit/credit card to apply
  3. You must have a valid email address and mobile phone number
  4. Be capable of entering into a legally binding contract
  5. All orders are subject to Afterpay’s approval – for example, if you have any overdue payments, Afterpay will not be available to you.

Paying for my order?

  1. You will be advised upon checkout if you are required to make a payment upfront, otherwise your first payment is generally 2 weeks from date of purchase.
  2. For orders over $500 you may be required to make your first payment upfront.
  3. Once you have finalised your order your payment schedule will be emailed to you by Afterpay.
  4. Afterpay does not permit additions or changes to the order after it has been approved.

Afterpay Late Fee’s?

  1. There are no extra fee’s for using Afterpay
  2. You can make repayments to Afterpay any time BEFORE the due date. Otherwise, Afterpay will automatically process payments on the scheduled dates from your card. If a payment is not processed on or before the due date, late fees will apply – initial $10 late fee, and a further $7 if the payment remains unpaid 7 days after the due date.

Refunds and exchanges

  1. All items purchased with Afterpay will not be refunded or exchanged in our bricks and mortar stores.
  2. You will need to send an email to head office livingemporium@gmail.com.au with your request and it will be handled from there.
  3. Any refunds payable by Living Emporium will be made directly to Afterpay. Afterpay will then adjust your payment plan and refund any payments already made to you.
  4. All refunds must comply with Afterpay’s Terms and Conditions

What happens if my order is cancelled?

  1. Sometimes we are not able to secure all items in your order. In this case, a refund will be issued to Afterpay. Your payment plan will be adjusted to reflect your new total.
  2. All refunds must comply with Afterpay’s Terms and Conditions
